ALS Film Fund relies solely on contributions and DVD sales to operate. As we all know, times are tough right now but you can make a difference! Just a small amount, any amount, will help us greatly. Not only will your generous contribution allow us to continue to function on a daily basis, it will help us effectively implement our new programs dedicated to education and awareness for ALS.
ALS Film Fund is now a 501c-3 non-profit organization! We received our tax-exempt status letter from the IRS and can now apply for many more types of funding to pay for our programs. We are excited about this new chapter in the organization. We look forward to new and unique ways of educating the public about ALS and creating the much needed awareness for this disease.
INDESTRUCTIBLE ART was a huge success! We plan to organize many more events like it in various cities around the country.

We have created many programs that will help to further our mission of educating the world about ALS and creating awareness through creative and accessible means.
Here are a few of the programs we have planned, but we need your help to achieve our goals.
WEB VIDEO SERIES
One great program is a series of online videos about a variety of subjects: toxins, caregivers, experimental surgery, stem cells, disease clusters (including military ALS), and many other topics that will help give an even better perspective of what this disease is about. We will attempt to answer some of the many questions people have, in a format that is not only easy to access, but also free and with no agendas.
MEDICAL CENTER SCREENINGS
Another program is to screen Indestructible at medical centers and clinics, educating medical professionals about the patient experience and helping to provide better care and compassion. Numerous medical professionals have found immense benefit from watching Indestructible and are recommending it to their peers and institutions and we want to increase that effort significantly.
FREE DVD FOR ALS PATIENTS
An incredibly important program that is currently underway is to provide a copy of Indestructible for ALS patients at no charge, in an effort to help alleviate the financial burden that they face in some small way. Patients and families all over the world have written us expressing the gratitude they have for Ben and his story. It helps them feel less alone and they know that the world is seeing their story too.
DVDS TO CONGRESS
We feel that an effective way to influence funding and legislation for ALS patients is by educating those who make the decisions. Indestructible is an excellent way for our members of Congress to understand and appreciate what patients and families go through. We plan to send them each a copy of the film to view, in the hopes that they will become more invested in the fight against ALS.
We receive requests for DVDs on a daily basis, and we will not turn anyone away, ever. Whatever you can do, it will help. We need your participation to continue our work and achieve even more.
